1. WHAT IS COMPUTER?

A computer is an electronic device that computes some raw data into meaningful information.

The word" computer " derived from Latin word "computare",which means calculate.

Computer can perform a wide range of tasks like:

sending e mail ,playing games,creating prentation , calculation and browsing internet.

2. WHAT IS DATA?

Data is a collection of row and unorganized facts that can be used as a sourse of information.

They may consist of facts , number,names and figures.

3. WHAT IS INFORMATION?

Information is a result of  processing data into a meaningful form.

4.CHARACTERISTICS OF COMPUTER-

Speed -computer have tremendous processing speed.The speed of computer is used in terms of intitutions processed per second .The speed is very high thai special units are used for speed determination.

Accuracy - The accuracy of computer is consistently high which is the case of human being.One could commit opporoximately one error in 50-100 calculation but a computer do not do that.

Storage- computers today have huge storage capacity.

Automation- once the command is given to the 🖳 it can perform the job the need of human intervetion until the job has not completed.

5.LIMITATIONS OF 🖳

- Lack of common sense 

-Inability of correct

-Dipendance of human instuction

-Lack of decision making

1. WHAT IS COMPUTER?

कंप्यूटर क्या है?

कंप्यूटर एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण है जो कच्चे डेटा को अर्थपूर्ण जानकारी में बदलता है।

"Computer" शब्द लैटिन शब्द "Computare" से लिया गया है, जिसका अर्थ होता है गणना करना।

कंप्यूटर कई प्रकार के कार्य कर सकता है, जैसे कि:

• ई-मेल भेजना

• गेम खेलना

• प्रेजेंटेशन बनाना

• गणनाएँ करना

• इंटरनेट ब्राउज़ करना

डेटा क्या है?

डेटा ऐसी कच्ची और अव्यवस्थित जानकारियों का संग्रह है, जिन्हें सूचना के स्रोत के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

इसमें तथ्यों, संख्याओं, नामों और आंकड़ों का समावेश हो सकता है।

सूचना क्या है?

सूचना वह परिणाम है जो डेटा को संसाधित (प्रोसेस) करके अर्थपूर्ण रूप में प्राप्त होता है।

4. CHARACTERISTICS OF COMPUTER

कंप्यूटर की विशेषताएँ

• Speed (गति) – कंप्यूटर की प्रोसेसिंग गति अत्यधिक होती है। इसकी गति को प्रति सेकंड प्रोसेस किए गए इंस्ट्रक्शनों की संख्या से मापा जाता है। चूँकि गति बहुत अधिक होती है, इसके लिए विशेष यूनिट्स का उपयोग किया जाता है।

• Accuracy (सटीकता) – कंप्यूटर की सटीकता बहुत उच्च होती है, जो मानव के मुकाबले बेहतर है। जहाँ एक इंसान 50-100 गणनाओं में एक गलती कर सकता है, वहीं कंप्यूटर ऐसा नहीं करता।

• Storage (भंडारण) – आज के कंप्यूटरों में विशाल मात्रा में डेटा संग्रह करने की क्षमता होती है।

• Automation (स्वचालन) – एक बार आदेश दिए जाने के बाद, कंप्यूटर बिना मानवीय हस्तक्षेप के कार्य को तब तक करता रहता है जब तक वह पूरा न हो जाए।

5. LIMITATIONS OF COMPUTER

कंप्यूटर की सीमाएँ

• सामान्य समझ की कमी

• स्वयं सुधार करने में असमर्थता

• मानव निर्देशों पर निर्भरता

• निर्णय लेने की क्षमता का अभाव
